Learn about The Gulch

Who is The Gulch a good fit for?

In the early 2000s, Nashville’s former industrial area began its modern-day transformation. Since then, the location has developed into one of the city’s premier neighborhoods. The reinvented urban center attracts young professionals, food connoisseurs, and metropolitan lovers. Due to the profound city-like vibe, The Gulch may not be ideal for everyone, such as families raising kids.

Where to eat, hang out and have a good time

Food options are in abundance throughout the upscale neighborhood. Standout brunch favorites include Biscuit Love and Milk & Honey. The Gulch is also home to the beloved Peg Leg Poker, a family-owned joint serving up award-winning BBQ. This area of Nashville serves as a popular destination for a night out, showcasing local dinner hotspots like Virago, Adele’s, and 404 Kitchen.

When the weather permits, be sure to check out the stunning rooftop views at L.A. Jackson, featured on the top floor of the Thompson Hotel. This place is spectacular both day and night. Another location known for its epic Nashville views is Up Rooftop Lounge, located at the Fairfield Inn. While in The Gulch, you can’t forget to snap an Instagram-worthy photo at the popular WhatLifts You Wings Mural.

“The Gulch is such a great addition to Nashville.”

The Gulch is such a great addition to Nashville. It has a much more sophisticated vibe in comparison to Downtown. The area is filled with a number of bars and restaurants and is an extremely fun location at night. I highly recommend spending time walking around and visiting the boutiques. The Gulch also has a variety of apartment complexes, which is a great option for those moving to Nashville solo.

“This is a huge area of condos”

This is a huge area of condos. There are also some restaurants and bars mixed in. If I was going to buy a luxury condo in Nashville, it would probably be in this neighborhood. I think the best bbq in Nashville is located here at Peg Leg Porker. The Station Inn is also a great music venue to see bluegrass. Cannery Ballroom and Mercy Lounge are also here, and they bring in good artists to see live.
